“After booking with classic for years, this was the best property we have stayed in. The location was amazing. I got up early each day to look at the views and sit in the front room with the fire on, watch tv ( which had everything you would want to watch), have a coffee look out the window at the coast and do abit of work on my laptop before the family got up. I really didn’t want to leave and am extremely jealous of the owners. Would definitely book again, which after booking Paul near Mousehill year after year is high praise.”

“We have just returned from a wonderful couple of weeks stay in this delightful home from home and would highly recommend it. It really is a great base to explore this lovely area of Devon and, being one of 4 iconic cottages standing out from many places along the coast, it’s a perfect place to start your adventures and return to each day. The views are incredible and plenty of outside spaces and furniture to enjoy them from. The cottage itself is perfect and has so many nice touches, both traditional and more modern, absolutely everything has been thought of and we could not fault a single thing!! We even had an accident during our stay and the hosts dealt with it very promptly without any fuss or stress, for that we’re very grateful. One thing we did wonder about was road noise being situated on a main road - no need, it’s hardly noticeable and never invasive whether inside or outside. It’s actually quite pleasant to hear a very brief gentle swoosh every now and again when vehicles go by. Thank you to the hosts and Classic Cottages for ensuring we had an amazing holiday !”
